Don’t look now, but the housing shortage that has driven rents and home prices to insane levels is about to go from bad, to worse, to positively catastrophic.
In fact, we are headed towards an all-systems failure that could see new apartment construction collapse across the Boston area for the rest of the decade, if not longer.
