Shakeup at MassDevelopment: Baker-era appointee out as CEO of key development agency
That would be Dan Rivera. The former mayor of Lawrence was appointed by Gov. Charlie Baker, a key ally, back in 2020.
Rivera is now leaving the agency, having submitted a letter of resignation, sources say.
MassDevelopment is a key player when it comes to economic development issues in the state, overseeing Devens, the sprawling old army-based-turned commercial park off of Route 2, among other things.
