The move came after the Times broke the story that the Secret Service had raised security concerns about Trump’s new Qatari-gifted Boeing 747-8, forcing a high-profile change in the president’s travel plans. We also dig into Trump’s threats to pull the license of broadcasters for not carrying his doozy of an “election security” speech, and offer our shock at how the World Cup turned out to be a hit in Greater Boston, defying gloomy predictions by the local press of chaos and gridlock.
